The Russian vocal ensemble Kafedra consists of 5 tenor, 2 bariton and 2 bass vocalists. In 1995 they were awarded the Grand Prix at the Internation al Festival of church Music in Mogilev, Belorussia. On this CD the ensemble performs Russian-Orthodox chants, Russian folk songs and Tatar folk songs.
Pan Records is an excellent world music label from the Netherlands. We have a few of their CDs left in our warehouse and are selling them on a first come, first serve basis.
