Historic first recordings of orq. tipica/norteño pioneers Los Montañeses Del Alamo from northern Mexico. Classic PRE-ACCORDION norteño music featuring flute & fiddle lead, until half way through the CD when a saxophone replaces the fiddle! Lilting melodies played with great feeling and some lovely vocals. Should appeal to many Mexican regional fans who were never enamored with the accordion.
