Mexican American Border Music Vol. III: In south Texas and the border region accordion music was the music of country folk, ranch hands, cantina patrons, truck drivers, blue collar workers, etc. It was country dance music where a lone accordion with perhaps a drum or a bajo sexto to , would supply the music to keep the dancers happy. Reissued from original 78 rpm discs, made between 1929 and 1939 by the first recording artists of Norteño and Tejano Conjunto Music.
